The W.M.B.M.A. has once again partnered with Pietro's Italian Restaurant to sponsor a great night of music and Italian food right here in West Michigan. The W.M.B.M.A., along with Pietro's, hosts a great local bluegrass band 3 weeks out of the month and one open mic/jam session that proves to be a lot of fun.

Lowell Expo

With the city of Lowell being our home base, we decided to support this city festival and bring further awareness to ourselves by sending some pickers to stroll the festival and do some jamming for the crowds. We'd love to have you pick or sing with us or even just come on out to listen and enjoy the expo!

Mayfest Bluegrass Festival!

This is it! The event that started it all for our association. This is our 17th year as an association and our 17th year to put on this popular bluegrass festival. We hope you'll make plans to come out and enjoy a great family-friendly event.

Once we've solidified this year's details, we'll have a dedicated page to give you all of the information about this great festival. Please watch this space starting sometime in March.

Lowell Riverwalk Festival

This is our chance to further promote bluegrass and acoustic music in the city of Lowell. We're seeking street musicians to come and represent us as we stroll around this city festival in Lowell, Mi. It's not a bluegrass event or even an official W.M.B.M.A. event, but since we're based in Lowell, we view it as a good chance to spread our mission and message. Along the way we have a lot of fun!

W.M.B.M.A. Presents Bluegrass at the Ionia Free Fair

New! The W.M.B.M.A. is partnering with the folks from the very popular Ionia Free Fair to present bluegrass at the fair. This is the first year for us to be involved with this organization, and we're excited about it. We plan to have a selection of bands playing most of the day on Saturday, Jul. 21, near the food concession area. We're still ironing out the details on this new event, so please check this space for more details to come.

W.M.B.M.A. Presents Bluegrass at the Kent County Youth Fair

Each year during the Kent County Youth Fair, the W.M.B.M.A. and the fair board put on a bluegrass concert. Who else to turn to but the W.M.B.M.A. to provide the top quality local entertainment?
