This year's headliner:
Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass
Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass play powerful, unadorned, and intense traditional bluegrass. There is no hybrid or genre-bending music here. It is music borne of the vibrant old time southern fiddle bands, as well as the lonesome moans of the backwoods mountain blues. The instruments blaze with energy while the songs reveal a paradoxical, desperate sadness anchoring the music squarely in the classic bluegrass tradition. Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass combine those forces with a drive and energy that takes over your senses. It is music you not only hear, but feel in your gut.

Pickers, grab your instruments and join the band scramble!

On Saturday, May 21, we'll be holding the 5th bi-annual band scramble. The band scramble is proving to be hugely popular and a lot of fun. The participants and the audience
alike really enjoy it.
The band scramble will be held on Saturday from 12-1:20, and you must be signed up to participate. There's a $5.00 signup fee, which goes towards the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place

Free instrument workshops

On Saturday, May 21 we'll be having free instrument workshops in the King Building. Bring your banjo, acoustic guitar, mandolin and fiddle to the King Building for some great
pointers from some great pickers!
