The West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association is proud to announce their partnership with Pietros Italian Restaurant for hosting bluegrass nights every Thursday night at the restaurant.
The music is held in Pietro's Backdoor Pizzeria each Thursday night of the month
starting in February of 2010. There is a regular rotation of four bands that play this
event for us, and the music starts at 7:00pm.

Deadwood (first Thursday each month)
Deadwood is a Southwest Michigan band whose roots began in 1978. The two original members of the band are Cork Babcock and Steve Carroll. As the band evolved, Ron Sanford joined to play bass and Gary Meadors to add his banjo and vocal talents.

Schlitz Creek (second Thursday each month)
Performing together since 2003, Schlitz Creek plays bluegrass music the way it should be sung and played. Combining a high energy approach with lively humor, the boys truly enjoy making music together and it certainly shows on stage. The band members have an unmatched chemistry onstage and off and their cohesiveness comes across in unmatched fun and energy during their performances.

Jonas Ridge (third Thursday each month)
Named after a sweet little town in North Carolina, Jonas Ridge will take you on a bluegrass retreat to the highlands along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Tight harmonies, banjo, guitar, mandolin, and bass - collectively they have over 112 years of playing music.
Patchwork Band (fourth Thursday each month)
This is one of Michigan's favorite bluegrass bands, playing to audiences all across the states of Michigan and Indiana. They have played at several major bluegrass festivals, including: the Tri-State Festival in Kendallville, Indiana; the W.M.B.M.A. festivals; Oil City, Marshall, Kalkaska, and Niles festivals.
