* * FallFest 2020 - Cancelled! * *
Hello WMBMA membership, friends and Bluegrass lovers,
After much thought, discussion and concerns about the Coronavirus pandemic and its impact on our world and way of life, the WMBMA Board of Directors has unanimously decided to cancel our 2020 FallFest.
This is the event which has been scheduled for the weekend of September 18 & 19.
While our state and everyday life is starting to somewhat return to normal, there are just too many uncertainties about the safety of anyone who might want to attend FallFest. The various rules and guidelines put forth by our Governor and the CDC regarding the reopening of businesses and outdoor activities need to be followed, and WMBMA cannot ensure the safety of our guests within all aspects of the festival.
Safe social-distancing requirements could not take place in our concert venue area, and other very important sanitizing aspects - which are part of the mandate - simply could not realistically be adhered to.
WMBMA will plan to have a FallFest 2021, and we look forward to seeing everyone at future meetings and other activities as soon as we all can participate safely. We're already in the process of evaluating some 'Hot Band' nights and fundraisers, and want to ensure we keep a bluegrass presence intact as we fight through the restrictions of the Covid 19 pandemic.
Please be safe, everyone, and hopefully we all can get together soon.

The 2019-2020 Board members are Ronnie Bailey, Ed Bronson, Dave Conley Sr., Josie Conley, Ben Crofoot, Louise Kamphuis, John Lakatos, Ruth Lakatos, Ron Pummel, Al Pursley, Dan Seif, Dave Simmonds and Mark Walker.
Officers seated by the Board are: President - John Lakatos; Vice-President - Ed Bronson; Secretary - Ruth Lakatos; Treasurer - Mark Walker.
