The West Michigan Bluegras Music Association is based out of Lowell, Michigan, and in 2013 we're celebrating our 18th year as an association! We're a dynamic and active group, putting on one or more monthly events throughout the year. Our flagship events are the two bluegrass festivals that we host in June and September.

Our friends down in Kalamazoo who run the Great Lakes Acoustic Music Association put on a GREAT two day festival each February. This event happens on February 15 & 16 this year. For more information, visit this website: www.greatlakesacoustic.org.

The West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association is run by a dedicated board of directors and elected officers. It is our wish that you as a member will become as involved as possible in the association, and to that end we hope to hear from you.
Our president, vice-president, treasurer, and secretary are all easily reached via email or telephone. All of the contact information is listed on our
contact us page.
The general public is always welcome at all of The West Michigan Bluegrass Music Association events. Some events are free, some have a small fee to them, but all events are family friendly and good clean fun. Are you a picker or singer? Bring your voice or your instrument along! We like to jam and to have fun for sure.
Would you care to get involved? The W.M.B.M.A. board of directors and elected officers care about and are passionate about the association. We put in a lot
of effort to try and improve the association, as well as propel it forward. However, we can only do so much, and we rely heavily on the volunteer efforts of our
members and fans. Your help is appreciated and needed! Perhaps the biggest area of help that we need is with our two big bluegrass festivals that we throw each
